We are currently at this establishment and the bartenders are 20yo miserable robots who have Zero Personality. I dont need a new bff but a smile with service or even recognition of an empty glsss would be greatly appreciated. More whispering to each other then any communication with the client until a rude "your welcome before thank you. Champs hire some personality please.

I've been to Champps about 4 or 5 times now because of the convenient location. Service is never consistent. Staff members are always standing at the front of the restaurant engaging in conversation yet I have to clear my throat to interrupt them just so I can get a table. Bar drinks have been sent back on two separate occasions and the one time I even had to go to the bar to get my remake because my waitress "forgot about it." I am less than impressed that we were not informed that kobe burgers were sold out before we even looked at the menu. Our waitress had the personality of a stiff 2x4.. Lighten up, sweetie! It wouldn't kill you to smile every now and then! Oh, and for future reference, paying customers do not want to hear about your financial problems or "baby daddy drama." Not only is it extremely unprofessional to cry poverty to your customers, your personal conversations among other employees regarding "recreational activities" is not something to be discussed at work. I Not going back.

Great place to go before hitting the movies. Get the Dinner & a Movie deal., and get your tickets for $8 a piece. Just ask the server before they ring up your bill. Good place for late night snacks after the movie too. There's a limited menu of $5 apps.

The new menu offers a very limited selection. I ordered a burger because that used to be delicious. It was small, flat and over cooked. The service was slow and ithe restaurant was only 1/4 full if that. The sweet potato waffle fries were Luke warm and not crispy. What happened to this place?

Out of five different entrees, the fries were the only good food served. Food was bland, service was poor . Just simple bar food. Low quality.

Champps contacted me and asked to treat us to our next dinner and explained that this experience would be much more pleasant. The food I had was great, just the one plate wasn't good, so we are looking forward to have a much better experience! Champps does have great customer service throughout the restaurant experience beginning and end.

Even with the new menu the food is less than average. If it wasn't for the new tvs, and good drinks I would never go there. The food is bad, and over priced for no apparent reason. The staff is also just okay I've had bad experiences there. Open late though, that's the only plus

I've been a fan of Champps for years, at various locations. Very sorry to discover that they have completely changed the menu and removed most of my favorite items- most notably the seasoned sour cream. Food was decent and service was fine, but there isn't anything worth coming back for now.

Usually stop in here for lunch at least once a month. I like the wide menu choices and the food is decent, but it's not a place I would necessarily crave. Service has always been quick and friendly. I was looking for nutritional information on one of their special dishes one time and although they didn't have it specifically, one of the kitchen staffs came out and did their best to estimate would it would be. In terms of nutrition, they don't have a lot of options that are low in calories or low in fat, but they do have a few. They do have a private room with a nice fireplace in it if you are looking to host a group lunch or dinner here. Lots of TVs in the place tuned to various sports channels. There is a big bar area so probably not a bad place to check out if you are looking for a happy hour after work.

They have the absolute best ribs. I'm a huge fan of bbq and I always come back here for the ribs. The only thing that sucks, nothing here is cheap so I can't come as much as I'd like, but I definitely treat myself once and a good while. It'd be nice if they dropped they're prices just a tad. And the outdoor patio is great in the summer.

It didn't suck, however the service leaves a little to be desired. The hostess was actually thoughtful enough to seat us where we wouldn't be crowded. The food was good. They should have a disclaimer about the mile high ice cream pie , it is waaaayyy too much for two people, I'm going to burst !

My husband and I used to like this place a lot and just went recently and they changed the menu and got rid of everything we liked. We stayed and the food was not good at all. We will not be going back!!!

Located in the same complex as the King of Prussia Mall and the movie theater, this Champps location has a built in customer base. It's your average chain sports bar and to be honest I had really low expectations of the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I had the Carolina Burger (topped with BBQ sauce, onion straws and coleslaw.) I substituted my beef burger for a turkey burger and it was great. You can also substitute any of their burgers for a veggie burger. Comes with a heaping pile of waffle fries. You can also buy discount movie tickets here. You can get one discounted ticket per meal, I think they were about $8. Would I recommend waiting a long time for a table here? No. But if you're looking for bar food before your movie, give it a try.

This is a good, reliable place for dinner in KOP especially if you are going to the movies. You can buy discount movie tickets at the restaurant. The atmosphere is casual, there are tons of large screen tvs, food and service are good, and usually the wait for a table is not long. I usually stick to burgers, salads and sandwiches. The roasted turkey sandwich on toasted multigrain bread with avocado and cheese is great.

Andy S.
Exactly what I expected for being a chain. Not terrible; not memorable. Had a few beers, Chicken Satay appetizer was the highlight. Bartenders were OK; somewhat inattentive. Not very personable. Burger and Buffalo Chicken sandwich to go. Food was fine but nothing we'd go back for.

Have been here numerous times, and for the most part, I think Champps deserves only 2-3 stars. It's probably one of the only sports bars in King of Prussia which makes it hard to give it a really bad rating since there aren't a lot of options to compare it to in the town. Came here for dinner with my boyfriend on Saturday night after catching a movie nearby. We were quickly seated and waited about 10 min before being greeted by our waitress. She felt bad and asked us what we wanted, without writing anything down. I asked for water with lemon and we also ordered a bottle of the cheapest wine on the menu. She brought the bottle over (already opened) and sat it on our table with 2 wine glasses, and walked away... she didn't pour it for us which was a bit odd. She brought waters to our table and gave us the ones without the lemon (although there were 2 on her tray with lemons). I ordered a burger with steak fries and my boyfriend ordered a sandwich with waffle fries. My order was brought out with waffle fries which I told our server that it wasn't what I had asked for, so he corrected it for me. Our waitress wasn't of much help throughout the entire meal. The food was also just okay, very standard bar-ish food. Wouldn't recommend for the food or the service but it does offer a convenient location to watch sports.

This was our first visit to this chain, we were visiting the area for the day. The burgers were good not the best, the waffle fries were great. Our server waited almost 10 mins to come to our table, they weren't very busy and she was busy talking to other employees and only came over to the table after she saw me looking around. She did apologize with a lame excuse and after that was more attentive.

It used to be pretty good food and great service. You even had to wait in line sometimes. Now it's mediocre at best. The place is always pretty empty. The food is just ok the service well let's just say it appears it's more important for the servers to hang out in a corner and chat rather than clearing tables or checking on their customers to see if they need anything. Even when we left no one was upfront to say thanks or inquire if everything was ok. It's sad we have been going here for years but I don't think we will be back.

Ok so I went here with my boyfriend after a shopping trip at kop. As always the wait was too long for cheesecake factory. Here we go! appetizers: I thought I'd try something new with a lobster dip. well I wouldn't do that if I were you because one its An orange mess and two it came out cold. my boyfriend also tried something new and tried to bacon wraps it's basically a cut baked potato without sour cream nothing incredibly special about either. Still deciding to try something new I also ordered the chicken tacos. these tacos were small and had the tiniest pieces of chicken I've ever seen in my life and covered and pico de Gayo there was more tortilla than chicken and a very small pile black bean and corn salsa on the side. my boyfriend has a bourbon salmon which was completely flavorless. I had the fish n chips. It took 20 minutes to get it after I sent back my original entree. all I'm saying is it while the service a champps is still pretty good I don't think I'll be returning here because the food has become bland and mediocre. On a positive note the wine was still great!

I remember watching a superbowl here about 5 years ago. It was an impressive place then because of the amount of HDTV's. The food was not great, but they made up for it with the TV's and seating. I came in here a few weeks ago for a business lunch. The food was probably worse than a few years ago. Our server was doing a good job, but they seemed to be a bit understaffed for the crowd. The novelty of the TV's has worn off, since every sports bar is now loaded with HDTV's. Finally, the beer selection could be a lot better. If they want to differentiate themselves in the future, I think they could do a lot to improve their beer selection.

The negative things that I want to say, have already been said. Pretty bland food for an excruciatingly high price. As one reviewer has already said, Champps tries to be something so much more than it is. Much better food in the King of Prussia area. Save yourself a disappointing night out.

The three stars are for their atmosphere and certainly not their food. Sandwiches are OK, chicken fingers are tasteless and plain...I mean, if you mess up on something as simple as chicken fingers, how can I expect anything else to be edible? I admit the appetizers are decent... then again, when I only order appetizers it also means that I've consumed some alcoholic beverages. Large TVs are great, Eagles games and any local sports teams are fun to watch here. Service is average. Parking usually stinks. Reco: Come here for the after-work, happy hour, sports-loving crowd, and not necessarily to have a nice meal.

What happened? This was my go to place. The wife and kids always wanted to go to this place. Nice salads, fish an chips. Mile high turkey sandwich, a big menu, TV's to watch. That place I'd gone. Small menu, oily food with little taste. Last week was it for us. My wife and daughter stopped there and had the worse meal ever. I guess it's a ok sports bar for getting a beer. If your new you might think it's ok. But for the old timers it's not what it once was.

Dave H.
For lunch, I went for the Champps's "Mile High Nachos". Figured if it wasn't enough, I'd get something else. Well, I forgot (yet again) that their platter is huge. While not exactly mile high, it's an expansive plate of nacho fun. On top of their corn tortilla chips, you can get either (or neither) seasoned pulled chicken or chili. Topped with white queso, cheddar cheese and pico de gallo. On the side, you get jalapenos (I requested extra), guacamole, sour cream and salsa. There's usually not enough - they give you a LOT of nachos - but you can request more as-needed.

In my humble opinion, I think this place is a step up from Fox and Hound. Sure, the parking is a pain in the butt here. But, I had a burger and it was pretty good. Plus, the layout is pretty nice here compared to Fox and Hound. The service was really good compared to Fox and Hound as well.

The food, prices, and dining room at Champps is reasonably good, being typical for a mid-tier eclectic American restaurant. Service, on the other hand, is a mix. Largely, this seems to be a function of the individual server, rather than time of day, how busy the restaurant is, etc. Some of the time, service is OK, even good, but other times we have experienced: slow or inaccurate order fulfillment, nonexistent drink refills (even when we've been asked whether we want refills!), etc. Service problems crop up too often at Champps for me to give more than 2 stars, which is a shame: WIth a little effort, this place could rate much better.

Solid place, we have always liked it. A good place to watch a game, with great bartenders. Apps can be a little bland, portions are big, burgers are good. Nice desserts as well. A great spot before or after a movie - good quality sports bar with pub food that is above average.
(3)
Bradley S.
They got 3/4 orders incorrect. The food was mediocre at best. The fries and onion rings were the best things on the plate. The best part was the seating and a great view of the tv. If it wasn't for that we would have been much more upset. We will not be back even with a $10 coupon from a manager.
(2)
Caroline V.
I've only been here for lunch and happy hour. It's your usual sports bar food. There's screens for you to watch the game and good happy hour specials. 1/2 price apps and drink specials. Good place to relax after a hectic day at work or to have a group happy hour. Drinks are served pretty quick and food is decent.

Came here to watch the Phils game on a Friday night. Started at the bar with beers and wings from the bar, which were very tasty wings!! I don't know what kind of buffalo sauce they use and where they get those plump chicken wings- so good. We then ordered burgers and more drinks. I had the regular burger with onion rings. The onion rings are a little too thick for my taste and they weren't crispy either. The burger was what you would expect. I like the environment with all the TVs and found the volume just loud enough but not too bad where you can't have a conversation. As other people have mentioned, the service was mixed. The hostess was NOT FRIENDLY and she was actually quite rude. She ignored some groups and kept telling groups different things about the wait time. Dealing with the hostess was the worst part. However, we had a great server who was quick and fun. I hope we don't have to deal with those hostesses again.

Acceptable Average chain sports bar. Same type of food everywhere else. Our Server was sleep walking I think. Steelers were on tv, BOOOO!

Typical chain sports bar, nothing special with food that pretty much is what you would expect, burgers wings and fries. I guess if you are a 20 something that has not discovered better bars yet this place would be for you, otherwise there are way better options in the KOP area. Way too loud and overpriced draft beers, I think no return visit for me.

Nothing special. A so-so sports bar with so-so food. It's like Applebee's except not as good. Watch for Mike Coury the Shek impressionist. He's funny when he's there.

Always a favorite for me and friends before (or after) a movie. This place is nearly always crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like to walk in this place and actually be seated upon arrival. The referee uniform adorn bartenders are a little cliche, but what do you expect from a nationwide sports bar chain? While I prefer Fox and Hound for their food, Chammps delivers on the basic necessities; some wings, nachoes, and a Hoegaarden in hand and I'm set.

Would not go back. The Yuengling and the ribs were good. Everything else was bland, including the pulled pork and the BBQ chicken. The service was pretty good, though. Still not worth the money I spent.

Every time I go here i don't expect much and just appreciate that this is a nice sports bar in the area. Don't expect much and you will appreciate that the food is good and that the ambiance is nice too. TV's are everywhere and the place is usually ALWAYS crowded.

Went there on a rainy Thursday night. Not crowded. Went to the bar with some buddies. Wings were awful! Service too. Everyone around us felt the same. They need new management. Won't be back.

Went there this weekend with some friends. The only thing that is keeping me from giving a 1 star rating was the service which was excellent. Other than that, it's terrible. I ordered the pork sliders which were, in a word, bland. How hard is it to take pulled pork and season it with just a little bit of salt and pepper then mix it with BBQ sauce? Apparently, it's very hard for these braintrusts in the kitchen. My cousin ordered a burger, medium well, which came out rare. My brother made the mistake of ordering the Chicken Parm and it looked like they just took some chicken fingers and threw sauce and cheese on top. I forget what else we ordered but the only thing they didn't screw up was the mozzarella sticks. If you are looking to watch a game it's great. TV's are all over and tuned to just about every sport on at the time. The service that night was great and the crowd wasn't bad either. I would go for a happy hour for drinks since the bar is huge. But for dinner? Never ever again. Save your money and go to Bahama Breeze or any of the other restaurants around. Don't waste it here.

Where to begin? Champps is definitely not a place for me. The server we had kept on mixing up our drinks and they tasted watered down, not to mention how small they were. The appetizer sampler was very disappointing, and when I went on an empty stomach, I thought that alone would hit the spot. Everything else on the menu was so plain and bland and expensive. Drinks were insanely expensive to their proportions as well. I do not have any plans on returning there anytime soon

I really enjoyed the food here. My roomie Kevin gives a good synopsis. I thought that their hamburgers were pretty good and filling (and probably not very good for my arteries). We also ordered a thing of ice cream cake, which was humongous! We couldn't even finish it, as there was so much ice cream. It had to be about a foot tall. Basically, they serve well sized portions here.

I have been going to Champps since they opened, and have had very few positive experiences there. The food has always disappointed me, and occasionally disgusted me. The Caesar salad has a dressing that I doubt anyone could call a Caesar. The last time I was there the waiter (who was either drunk or mentally deficient) screwed up our order so bad we had to send 2 meals back, and the $8 mudslides should have cost $4. The 2 things I liked were the burger I ordered the last time I went and the cookie dessert (though the cookie isn't freshly baked like the Fox and the Hound). Had those not been good, 1 star would have been given.

I've never been a big fan of Champp's. I think they are very overrated. I've been here for lunch on numerous occassions and never found anything worth going back for. On the other hand, I went for dinner once and was very surprised at how good the pasta was. I wasnt expecting good food because of my previous experiences and I was shocked. The Roasted Artichoke & Grilled Chicken Penne The Walnut Crusted Chicken was amazing! The place is decorated with many flat screen TVs but you cant hear a word on any of them so dont expect to actually hear a game.

We've gone to champps several times. The food is standard american bar food with a pretty generic selection. I've tried a few things on the menu and everything is at least decent. I will say that the french onion soup is AWESOME here and my favorite meal to order is the half sandwich (which is actually quite big) and soup, which also comes with a side of kettle chips. This is plenty of food and is pretty good. My only complaint is that you can only choose from the turkey, chicken salad and reuben sandwiches for your half sandwich. I see no reason why this option is so limited. The beer selection is kind of weak, with really only the standard domestic and international varieties. There are plenty of tvs if you are here to "watch the game" and there are tons of seats. To date, I've never had to wait to sit down.

Your basic American crap food with overly priced beer and poor service.

Went with the Hubby for lunch after finding a "Tax Weekend Coupon" for 2 burgers/sandwiches for $15. I got the French Dip with fries, which of course looked delicious in the menu photo. The actual sandwich was less than overwhelming with meat that was not pink and juicy, but overcooked and dry. His Burger was huge and he upgraded to the onion rings as a side dish for an extra $1. He loved the burger which was cooked perfectly. I tried an onion ring and thought it had a funny taste, like it was fried in "old" oil. I was happy we had the coupon. Would have been disappointed if we paid full price. Not rushing back anytime soon!

After a few hours of frantic Christmas Shopping at the King of Prussia mall, my roommate and I decided to give Champps a try. An island in a sea of asphalt, it looked like as good a place to eat as any, and combined with the temptation of their numerous big screen televisions visible from the parking lot we agreed to give it a try. With the Dallas Cowboys choking away their playoff dreams against the Ravens in the background, we decided to try the bacon stack burgers and a couple of beers. The menu is pretty comprehensive, but when my food arrived I knew I made the right choice. The burger was good and so were the fries. The portions were more then plentiful, but to top off the evening, we split a slice of the Mile High Ice Cream Pie. It was magnificent; a comically large pile of ice cream, at the same time delicious but impossible to finish. So obviously I have no complaints about the food, and the service was pretty good too. So it's perfect, right? Well not quite. if Champps was just a regular restaurant , I'd probably give it four stars. However, as it tries to also be a sports bar, I have to offer some criticism on that front. I feel it doesn't fully succeed on either regard. For example, while it does sport the aforementioned big screen televisions, they are placed in awkward positions, and if you want to also listen to the game, you're a out of luck. It in a sense lacks the soul of a sports bar. Rather than a bar you go to to watch the big game, it's more like a restaurant where you can also watch a game. Then again, it could be totally different when the local teams are on. This is based on one experience. I give it three and half stars. I'd go back as the food and service were good.
(3)
Mayo B.
Champps is just so-so. The atmosphere is fun; lots of TVs to watch sports and whatnot. But the food is really not that great. I have only ordered burgers and appetizers here, but they were like blah tasting. The nachos were nothing special, needed more cheese. The wings were ok, nothing special. The 'shroom burger was...eh. One of my friends ordered a pasta dish and it didn't look too exciting either. Bottomline is that Champps is only good to see THE game with friends, but nothing else.
(2)
Dan B.
Honestly, Champps is just eh. I think it's better than a 2 star rating because I've never had a bad food experience, and it is good to see some random games that might not be on in your local market (if you don't have directTV). The only downsides I have is that the place seems to be "everyone's hang out" during a big game or a sports event. I have definitely found much better places to go to watch a good baseball or football game only because you aren't standing elbow to elbow with some stranger with an empty beer glass because it takes forever to get served. Outside of that, if you are at the mall or Best Buy and looking for decent, not great, food and apps, plus a nice selection of domestics and a few imports, stop by. However it's definitely in that cookie-cutter "Hey look at us we're a sports bar" like every other vanilla place. I would rate this only higher than a TGI Fridays and Bennigans (R.I.P.) type of place because the food has always been a little better.

Used to love this place. But it seems to have gone a bit downhill in the past couple years. They've changed their menu too many times They took the fantastic patty melt off the menu, and they used to make it for me anyway, but not anymore. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. What used to be a phenomenal burger was just okay this time. A better burger can be had across the street at Chili's for cheaper. I do like the new flat screen tv setup though.

A reliable restaurant/bar serving, good, but not great food, but still with excellent service and lots of seating. Located right near the IMAX, a Nordstrom, and a Best Buy, I get the feeling the hate is because it's KOP. I found everything to be perfectly adequate, from the service to the food to the general atmosphere. Champps is a spacious sports bar that serves food a bit better than your normal bar fare but similar to what you'd see in a chain restaurant. I ordered the Champps Club ($11.50) with turkey, ham, Monterey jack and cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, served with sweet potato waffle fries for an extra dollar. It was a very good club sandwich, but it wasn't anything to write home about. The real draw of the place is the waffle fries - perfectly cooked and you get a ton of them on the side to share. If you're going to a movie or just want a spacious sports bar to catch the game while your significant other is shopping, Champps will fit the bill.

RELIABLE! If you're a chain, and of course they are, that's a good word. I have a habit of going here before I go to the movies and that was the case yesterday. Who wants to pay concession stand prices! The wait staff and bartenders have been reliably friendly and mostly competent. Most of the entrees are reliably huge and too much for most folks. I find that slightly annoying if you are dining alone and have no one to share with. I find most of the food decent but reliably under seasoned except for salt which is used with abandon at least to my tastes. As many have said, the waffle fries are reliably amazing! I spotted DEVILED EGGS ($7) on the menu and I can never resist them. There were six of these bad boys and they were topped with Applewood-smoked bacon, fresh tomato, and avocado. As you can see from my pic they were plated beautifully and looked damm good. Fortunately for me they were! To me this is a solid three star place. If you are there to watch a game probably 3 1/2.

My love for this bar (and it's a bar, stop pretending it's a restaurant!) has come and gone. Perhaps it will come back again, but right now I'm on a low plateau. The food isn't great. This is why we need to stop pretending it's a restaurant. The wings are decent, the nachos and quesadillas are good, but the sandwiches and main courses are hit and miss and not very memorable. They have a well stocked bar, with a lot of draft choices for everyone. I believe Champps also has drink specials, but they're not well advertised on their website so I can't comment on what they are now, only that I remember hearing about a few of them when I was going frequently. The environment can be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. If you are looking for a sports bar with a million televisions playing every game you can imagine, a bar that can at times be very loud and packed, and want to enjoy some fried food, Champps is great. If you don't want that.. Champs isn't the bar for you. I loved it the most a few years back, when there were two really great bartenders. Becky and Tiffany. They not only easily handled a packed bar, made perfect drinks, but also took the time to get to know you and your drink orders so that it was in your hand by the time you sat down. Great service makes up a lot of what may lack in food and environment. The bartenders that I've had since they left are good, but not the best. Not enough to get me come back more frequently, but if I'm in the area and needing a drink, I don't mind stopping in.

Don't know why this place has such low reviews but being from Canada and having such expensive places to eat and drink I feel that Americans are so spoiled with the variety of things they have We came here on a Saturday nite to grab more drinks after going to a speakeasy, we wanted to goto bahama breeze but it was closing so we decided to check this place out at 1am....they had happy hour for $2 yeungling beer, dollar off cocktails and $5 appetizers!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe the value we got for such a huge chili nachos for $5!!!!!!! You would never find this in Canada at all!!!!!! And they were not shitty nachos too, they were actually pretty good, also ordered the chicken tenders but I was too full to eat any This is a large sports bar place with lots of tvs and seating

I'd never been to a Champps before, but this place was basic. Was underwhelmed at my brother's burger and the pulled pork sandwich the waitress recommended. It was edible but I would not really crave this place.

Champps is such a meh place. The food is pretty much identical to any other chain - Applebees, Chilis, etc. But its a great place to watch sports and the happy hour and late night happy hour are great deals. Cheap beer and half off appetizers (get the mile high nachos and wings).

Decided to try Champps on a whim as we need to find a bar that was playing the Giants game in Philadelphia! This is a relatively large sports bar with varying size TV's located throughout. There is a bar as well as a restuarant style seating area. We were immediately greeted by a hostess and I expressed a desire to be closest or in viewing range ofthe game. She omplied and placed us adjacent to a huge flat screen with the game on. For some reson, a couple of minutes later the channel was changed?! We told the waitress and the problem was immediately remedied. We started off with the giant pretzel (see pic) that we noted on another table. The pretzel hangs from a sort of banana holder lol. Aside from the presentation, It was ahhhhhmazing and I deifinitely recommend it. It came with queso and seeded mustard. Wasn't crazy about the mustard and our waitress replaced it with another sid of queso. There's a good beer selection (tap and bottle) and I was pleased to see that they had Rogue mocha porter (soooooooo good...if you like stouts and stout-like beers this is a MUST). I may be biased bc Rogue beers are my favorite. So I obviously started with this... For an entree I ordered the Mahi tacos which were pan seared and cooked to perfection BUT def needs the mango salsa and/or reg salsa for the added flavor. A friend had the shrinp and steak combo which she really enjoyed. As I wasn't sure of what some of the flavoring of the beers were the waitress was kind enough to bring over two free samples so that we were able to well, sample, the 'foreign' beer. I chose a seasonal stout which was good. For my third beer I had the Sam Adams Seasonal on tap. It was good until i was about 2/3 finished with the beer when I noted what looked to be a crack in the glass that extended from the bottom to the top. Well, my friend stuck her finger on the side of the glass and the 'crack' moved! It was a hair!!! I am not sure about you but I am completely repulsed and disgusted by this especially after I realized that there was no way it was my hair. We told the waitress who seemed equally disgusted and the manager came over. She was kind enough to "take the beer off the bill" (yes, that is sarcasm...of course she should have done that if not more!). Is customer service suffering these days or is it just me? In genera,l the venue was not overly busy but service was kind of below average and slow for some reason. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating though. Despite the 'hair incident' I believe I would visit Champps again.

As far as the TV goes, the place really has it down. It is virtually impossible to not see a TV screen, no matter where you sit- which all and all is great for a sports bar. The food was mediocre and they also serve blue moons without an orange (whaaaaat?). If you order a cocktail, it's going to be 70:30 sweetness to alcohol. Service was attentive but almost too so that it detracted from game watching.

Came here with a few friends and our server was very attentive . Margaritas were ok nothing special. Nachos were huge!!! I got the ones with chili. My husband got a steak medium well and it came out too rare we had to send it back but they fixed it right away. We didn't have room for dessert but we'll be back for it.

Our lunch was not good. I ordered a new menu--ahi tuna tacos. They were overdressed and underwhelming. In the past I have enjoyed the big pub food in sports bar atmosphere. And now it is feeling kind of sad. My lunch mates were excited for the gyro but they took it off the menu so everyone was disappointed. We like the gigantic soft pretzel but the sauces were lackluster... We asked for some honey mustard on the side to try to help the situation. One person at the table or something that looks pretty darn good and that was the pork street tacos, I had a bite and they were okay but could use some more seasoning. I'm sorry that this review is so lame but all in all our meal was not great and I'm just trying to be honest.

Had myself a GREAT burger with chicken breast instead of the meat patty. It was delicious, and so were the side of sauteed veggies. We had a little mishap with a spilled and broken glass and the manager came out to check and make sure everything was ok. Great service. Definitely a good option if you want to check it out before hitting the mall.

Had dinner there Friday night and tried the new Bbq menu. Awful!!! Spouse had brisket sandwich which was cold, had no bbq flavor, and was filled with chunks of fat. I had brisket platter which had cold corn on cob, gristly fatty brisket, and literally a tablespoon of baked beans. It was a terrible meal, and not cheap. Service was okay...place was empty so they weren't busy. We won't return.

Returned to Champps KOP on Monday and quite a different experience from 11/2014. Food was excellent and the service as well. Server checked in several times and make sure our drinks were always replenished. Definitely will return.

I won't be returning after last night's meal. Ordered glass of wine, $10, thought a little high. Waiter recommended the rib eye. What a mistake that was, over cooked, all grizzle and fat! Horrible! Waiter addressed problem and asst. manager gave me a NY Strip steak as a replacement which was not much better. Only had to pay for wine. The quality of Champp's has gone down hill.

Two stars for the friendly waitress. The food was extremely bland... Had a sandwich with waffle fries, and sorry to say this, but the fries were the best part of the meal. Also remember it wasn't particularly cheap, and so I considered it a waste of money and calories. Meh! Won't go back here probably, although I can imagine it'd be cool to go here for drinks and watch a game.

My bff is going to read this review and cringe. She likes this place and it just doesn't do it for me. The food is ok, but they don't offer a lot of healthy options. The crowd is mixed. On my most recent visit on a Friday night, the place was practically a ghost town. Bartenders are friendly, but prices are meh. I think this is a great place to watch a game. Lots of tvs and bar food galore. I don't feel like they offer anything above and beyond your typical sports type bar. And for the love, I'm getting old and would appreciate a bar seat with a back. Those stools just aren't cutting it.

When we arrived we were told there was only a 15 minute wait, no big deal except that the group of three hosts looked absolutely confused and didn't know how to properly sit people, we waited probably half an hour. I could see 5 empty tables the entire wait (and they were not reserved). Everything was fine when we sat down and put our child's order in right away to avoid her complaining loudly. Her food came out smelling like something was burning on the bottom of the fryer. we asked to replace her food and there were no issues, but she then told us she forgot to put in my wife's and my order in to the kitchen. So much for trying to cut down on the time to avoid a cranky child. I asked the waitress to be honest with the wait time and of course she wasn't. Our food came out with that same disgusting smell as well. The waitress said she would get the manager. Well the manger made it look like he was routinely checking on all the tables and when he got to us he acted shocked when we told him our experience. The waitress either forgot another thing by not telling him or concerns or it was a poor attempt at acting surprised. I don't think he will be getting an Oscar anytime soon. Have been here a few times before with no problems although the food was average at best. With so much competition in the area I will definitely not be going back.

Champps has decent bar food. Lots of TVs to watch games and a pretty good beer selection. The Cuban sandwich is really good. If you're looking for low cal don't eat an entire entree. They are all pretty bad. Splitting a sandwich is the only way to go.

Went to Champps on a whim because Bahama Breeze next door was too crowded. I was extremely disappointed in this place. The service was slow even though it wasn't very crowded. I ordered the chicken finger dinner and almost laughed when the plate was put down in front of me. 2 pieces of fried dough (didn't even have any chicken!) and 2 small chicken fingers. Also, I had ordered it with mashed potatoes and was served fries. Upon showing the waitress (when she finally came back to the table) she said, "Well, the size of the chicken varies..." with no offer to replace my meal or bring me the mashed potatoes. She was quite rude about the whole thing and didn't really seem to care. I assumed part of my meal would be comped...I was wrong. I would not recommend this place. My other two friends I was with said their meals were just ok and we all agreed the drinks were weak and not worth the price.

HAPPY HOUR HAPPY HOUR HAPPY HOUR! Half price apps! It's a sports bar...have some wings and a beer and check out the TV! They have enough of them! Happy hour, and sporting events are really what this place is about... Plenty of TVs and a good place to watch a game, there really isn't a bad seat in the house! If this is what you are looking for, I'm sure you will be pleased here...Only other plus is grabbing something quick before a movie. Nothing really exceptional about this place, but I have had a few good bartenders serve me over the years which goes a long way for mediocre food in a loud open bar. This is a great after work beer spot, and it also gets some traffic from the mall, as well as the movie theater. Overall, not a place I go out of the way to visit, but when the world cup comes around next summer I'm sure I will see a game or three there!

It's a chain, so we went into Champps expecting a chain experience. And we ended up with a mediocre chain experience. We walked in at 8:30 on a Saturday night, there were 2 parties of 4+ in front of us and we asked how long it would be for a party of 2, thinking that there might be a smaller table available. We were told that it would be a 15 minute wait. While waiting for a response from the hosts, I was able to count 5 empty high tops in the bar and at least 4 empty tables in the restaurant. A little nonplussed at the 15 minute wait time, I asked whether the tables in the bar area were seat yourself and was told no, that only the bar itself was open seating. So we sat at the bar. I'll end this section of the review by saying that not one person was seated at those high tops the entire time we were there and that the section had a server in it. So that server got screwed out of tips thanks to the hosts. The bar had a great beer selection and the bartender was attentive. Lots of PA beers as well as bunch of craft beers from the rest of the US as well. The beer selection alone almost bumped the review up to a 3, but between the hosts and the food I just couldn't justify it. I ordered the Steak Fresco Tacos because I've been craving Mexican food. I know better and frankly having lived in SoCal I wasn't expecting to be wowed. I did expect some of the basics. Instead I got a slab of "steak" in an oversized flour tortilla covered with salsa verde out of a jar. The steak had no seasoning other than the fact that it was burnt which added a gross bitter taste to the whole thing. I'd be willing to bet that the salsa verde came out of a jar. And there was almost no cheese on them. The tortilla chips that were served on the side had no salt and were slightly stale. As a tip for the future, Champps, don't burn the steak and cut it into pieces prior to putting it into the tortilla. And speaking of tortillas, take them down a size. I think that if we do ever go back, it will be for drinks at the bar only.

I came here with a party of 4. We all ordered something different. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings as my side (there are a large number of choices for the side with no extra charge, which I liked). My sandwich was good, a normal grilled chicken sandwich. My only complaint was that the bleu cheese that came on the sandwich was very scant, so I asked for a side of bleu cheese dressing. I do not think they charged extra for the side of dressing, which was nice (I'm noticing people charge for that more and more). Our waitress was nice and attentive. Champps is not bad for a chain. Not the best, but definitely one of the better chains. I will keep it on my list of acceptable chains within the King of Prussia area.

Never received such bad service, the waiter is a 40+ male, after 10 min we order the food, he came to ask what we ordered, said the order was lost. Alright, then we waited for 1hr, there was only a plate of chicken wings on the table, and during that, we had asked the waiter couple times for our food, the kitchen is open to public, so I can saw him not visit the kitchen, not even once. And the drink I had , you know what coke looks like, but what I got is like70% water on top. I don't know that why this restaurant did this, and I don't know if the waiter is one FxxkIng racist, just want discriminate us, because we are Asian. Any way, this restaurant is totally not recommend

We went here for a game. The service was great since we were there for 3 hours. The beer selection wasn't bad. We ordered nachos, steak tacos and a burger. The nachos tasted like they microwaved it to melt the cheese. The tacos and burger were bland. Can't say I would go back for the food however, I may go back to grab drinks at the bar. I would give this place a 1 star if it wasn't for the decent service.

One good thing about this bar is that it is not as packed as the Rock Bottom in the mall. But compared to Rock Bottom, the food here is crap. Don't like their burger at all!

Chipolte bbq wings were great, crispy, the flavor had a great kick to it..spicy, but not to the point where you have to wave a white flag. Came with a side cup of homemade blue cheese.. creamy and chunky.. thumbs up right there Also went with a new burger they are doing, called a "Guac Burger" medium cooked with pico de gallo, cilantro, of course guacamole, a great pepperjack cheese melted just right, but I added thick cut bacon to it. Another plus waffle fries come with all the burgers, add a cup of their queso for dipping..instant winner. Had a great bartender named Tiffany, made sure my drink was always topped off..who could ask for any better, a bartender on her game. Blackberry peach ice tea with a little added octaine known as Stoli. Plenty of TV's with all your sporting needs, pleasant service, clean enviroment, bartender(s) always asking if you're good.

This used to be a wonderful place to eat and drink and could be again with TLC. First, if you are going to play loud music fix your speakers so that Adele doesn't sound like she's streamed from Mars. In reality, playing loud pop in a sit down restaurant when people are trying to talk is just lame. Without a dance floor it doesn't energize anyone to do anything but leave. Next, what happened to the rest of the menu? There's a few cool like Ahi Tuna tacos and a spinach salad but mostly same old bar food. Lastly, do not allow the cooks near the salt shakers. I have never eaten saltier chips in my life. Lastly, the server seemed preoccupied elsewhere though there were few people in the place. To me that's a manager problem not a server issue. Once the server was freed up she served us well.

Went there for dinner with my girlfriend. Service was awful, food had no taste, took forever to get our food. They screwed up the orders. In the end, the comped our entire meal and gave us a $20 gift card in hopes that we come back. That's how bad our experience was there.

Had high hopes for the steak fajita but they put a single strip of steak instead of chopped steak in the tacos making it impossible to bite through with your front teeth. End result is pulling the entire piece out with your first bite or using your fork and knife to eat the tacos. Poor execution chammps.

Champs with two ps is a place I hope to never go back to. The service was shit and the food was even worse. I was seated at a table directly behind the waiters kiosk so everytime they went to enter someone's order (probably 30 min late anyway) my chair was being kicked and the beast war waitresses were hitting me with dirty trays. The only people that rated this place higher than a two star also gave Applebee's a 5 star.

Great food and nice environment. The music is at the perfect volume to maintain conversation. The bartenders were kind and fast. Not to mention I enjoy the nachos. I really appreciate how they present the dipping sauces on the side so the nachos are not sloppy. Great place to hang out I will be back soon.

First, let me say that all of the staff that we interacted with were very nice. But then I must say I have one word to describe it... Dirty! I realize that fruit flies are a problem that every bar and restaurant has to deal with, but when there are so many flying around that you have to put a coaster over top of your beer you know there are just too many. Also, from where I was sitting I saw the spoon that they use to pour a Guinness. DO NOT order a Guinness! I don't think that spoon has ever seen the inside of a dishwasher. I used to enjoy meeting a friend here for a drink occasionally, but I will not be back.

I came here more often when I worked across the street. The food and service here are a lot better than you'd expect for a chain place. The bartenders here are super friendly and get to know your name even if you don't stop in that often. The food is standard bar fair, but it's well done and there's some solid healthy options. Food specials seem to change seasonally. It gets good traffic for sporting events because they have a lot of well positioned TVs. It's a big open space, so it can be a little loud. There's a private dinning area that we used to do fantasy football drafts in.

After I left a bad review at this place, the manager was kind enough to reach out to me and asked what they can do to improve and offered me a gift card to come back. To me that speaks volume of the quality of the manager and how much they care. I did come back to this place and in fact I brought my company's happy hour back. The $5 apps were great for groups, drinks are still not at an ideal price but it's doable, service was good, so I def would come back to this place again, not a bad place for an after work hangout!

Worst service ever. Waited 30 minutes at our table before a server even took our drink order. This place is horrible. Bad servers. Bad management. Bad food. Avoid at all costs

Came here with a friend on a Thursday night. It was not crowded, but it was decently busy. The drinks are overpriced (although that seems to be the going fashion), and the food is overpriced by about 30% for what you are getting; the cheapest salad was $12. They don't have much in the way of vegetarian options. For a salad...that always gets me. Why? I ordered a salad with no chicken and asked them to either throw on some extra toppings, or comp a few dollars. Since the meat is the most expensive part, you know. My salad came out with hardly any dressing (I had to closely "examine" the lettuce to even find the dressing, and at first I thought there was none) and no avocado. When I told the waitress there was no avocado on the salad, she leaned over and neither of us could find any. I had only taken a few bites and there was definitely no avocado. She brought out some avocado but said the chef said he had put avocado on there, but they would give me extra. Um, thanks. Were they really calling me a liar when the waitress couldn't find avocado on there either? And second, were they really calling me a liar? Sheesh. The food was mediocre, and the waitress was okay. I spent too much for what I received and I won't be back.

Go somewhere else! I am only giving it 2 stars b/c you can call ahead and make a 'reservation' However, they seated us in between what seemed like dinner for a tweens lacrosse end of season celebration. Tons of tweens zipping by our table and parents downing beers in the chaos. One waitress asked us if we really wanted to sit here or if we would like to move - hence reason #2 for 2 stars and not 1. But that is where the good times ended. Our waiter was nonchalant. The coconut shrimp came with a sauce that couldn't choose a flavor identity - was it sweet/spicy or was it wasabi? We will never know. The barbecue pizza came out barely warm and barely toasted. We also ordered the KOBE burger and that was pretty good! Our drinks took a long time. I ordered a spiked strawberry lemonade that had more pureed strawberry than liquid. Ugh - we were hungry and in a rush so we did not complain. But of course - we will never go back.

Ugh, what a nightmare. The restaurant was super busy/super unorganized last night and we waited almost an hour for two overpriced, bland, overcooked burgers that arrived ice cold, one containing the tomato I requested be left out due to a food allergy. We got new burgers which were hot but they were still small, flat, overcooked, and tasteless- and missing half of the toppings this time. The fries were decent. The poor waitress was overwhelmed and frustrated with the kitchen and did her best to make us happy, and the manager comped our entire meal... that's the only reason I'm giving this two stars. Oh, and the pumpkin cheesecake that's not on the menu. That's pretty freaking awesome- probably because they likely buy it elsewhere.

Love the Happy Hour there and all i can say is thank GOD they brought the potato skins back instead of those twists.. noo thank you!! and i dunno what it is but there buff fingers are like crack to me dunno why but sooo good!! the staff always rocks there. I'm used to collegeville but KOP is just as good. the food is great, atmosphere is great.. This is what I look for when I go out and i get it here.. the bar is a nice size.. again usually only go for Happy Hour but they have good Happy Hour specials $5 apps, dollar off beer and wine and i think mixed drinks as well... LOVE it :)

(4)June G.
The new menu offers a very limited selection. I ordered a burger because that used to be delicious. It was small, flat and over cooked. The service was slow and ithe restaurant was only 1/4 full if that. The sweet potato waffle fries were Luke warm and not crispy. What happened to this place?
(1)Zachary L.
Out of five different entrees, the fries were the only good food served. Food was bland, service was poor . Just simple bar food. Low quality.
(1)Maddie S.
Champps contacted me and asked to treat us to our next dinner and explained that this experience would be much more pleasant. The food I had was great, just the one plate wasn't good, so we are looking forward to have a much better experience! Champps does have great customer service throughout the restaurant experience beginning and end.
(4)Mike C.
Even with the new menu the food is less than average. If it wasn't for the new tvs, and good drinks I would never go there. The food is bad, and over priced for no apparent reason. The staff is also just okay I've had bad experiences there. Open late though, that's the only plus
(1)Tara W.
I've been a fan of Champps for years, at various locations. Very sorry to discover that they have completely changed the menu and removed most of my favorite items- most notably the seasoned sour cream. Food was decent and service was fine, but there isn't anything worth coming back for now.
(3)Greg L.
(3)Danii S.
(4)Tom G.
It didn't suck, however the service leaves a little to be desired. The hostess was actually thoughtful enough to seat us where we wouldn't be crowded. The food was good. They should have a disclaimer about the mile high ice cream pie , it is waaaayyy too much for two people, I'm going to burst !
(3)Jill K.
My husband and I used to like this place a lot and just went recently and they changed the menu and got rid of everything we liked. We stayed and the food was not good at all. We will not be going back!!!
(1)Colleen M.
(3)J K.
(3)Andy S.
(3)Siv L.
(2)Christina P.
(2)D J.
(3)Ashley H.
(2)Alex V.
(2)Andy G.
The negative things that I want to say, have already been said. Pretty bland food for an excruciatingly high price. As one reviewer has already said, Champps tries to be something so much more than it is. Much better food in the King of Prussia area. Save yourself a disappointing night out.
(1)Jane V.

(2)Dave H.

(2)Ian S.
Solid place, we have always liked it. A good place to watch a game, with great bartenders. Apps can be a little bland, portions are big, burgers are good. Nice desserts as well. A great spot before or after a movie - good quality sports bar with pub food that is above average.
(3)Bradley S.
They got 3/4 orders incorrect. The food was mediocre at best. The fries and onion rings were the best things on the plate. The best part was the seating and a great view of the tv. If it wasn't for that we would have been much more upset. We will not be back even with a $10 coupon from a manager.
(2)Caroline V.

(4)Sam Y.
Acceptable Average chain sports bar. Same type of food everywhere else. Our Server was sleep walking I think. Steelers were on tv, BOOOO!
(2)Todd B.
(1)Jim O.
Nothing special. A so-so sports bar with so-so food. It's like Applebee's except not as good. Watch for Mike Coury the Shek impressionist. He's funny when he's there.
(3)Rob R.
(3)Andy S.
Would not go back. The Yuengling and the ribs were good. Everything else was bland, including the pulled pork and the BBQ chicken. The service was pretty good, though. Still not worth the money I spent.
(2)Domenic F.
Every time I go here i don't expect much and just appreciate that this is a nice sports bar in the area. Don't expect much and you will appreciate that the food is good and that the ambiance is nice too. TV's are everywhere and the place is usually ALWAYS crowded.
(4)Greg W.
Went there on a rainy Thursday night. Not crowded. Went to the bar with some buddies. Wings were awful! Service too. Everyone around us felt the same. They need new management. Won't be back.
(1)Shayne T.
If you like completely generic corporate sports bars, this is your place.
(2)Chris V.
(2)Minh C.
(1)Shaun O.
(4)Sidney B.
(2)Jen R.
(2)Will G.
(3)Brian M.
Your basic American crap food with overly priced beer and poor service.
(2)Lorie G.

(3)Mayo B.
(2)Dan B.
(3)Mike H.
(3)Cody Y.
(3)Steven B.
(3)Lauren W.

(5)Eboni H.
I'd never been to a Champps before, but this place was basic. Was underwhelmed at my brother's burger and the pulled pork sandwich the waitress recommended. It was edible but I would not really crave this place.
(3)Adam F.
Champps is such a meh place. The food is pretty much identical to any other chain - Applebees, Chilis, etc. But its a great place to watch sports and the happy hour and late night happy hour are great deals. Cheap beer and half off appetizers (get the mile high nachos and wings).
(3)Joey M.
(3)Nicole J.
(2)Tatiana M.
(4)Lydia B.
(2)Roberto T.
(4)Sonja M.
(1)Wendy H.
Returned to Champps KOP on Monday and quite a different experience from 11/2014. Food was excellent and the service as well. Server checked in several times and make sure our drinks were always replenished. Definitely will return.
(4)Carol L.
(1)Diana H.
(2)Amy A.
(3)Erik J.
(1)Katie P.
Champps has decent bar food. Lots of TVs to watch games and a pretty good beer selection. The Cuban sandwich is really good. If you're looking for low cal don't eat an entire entree. They are all pretty bad. Splitting a sandwich is the only way to go.
(3)Claire D.
(2)Brian C.
(3)Megan G.
(2)Laura F.
(3)Shan L.

Firehouse veggie burger goes great with veggie patty. Love the waffle cut fries and great onion rings.

I was in last night with coworkers. We sat in the bar area. The food specials are amazing and the chili nachos are always a win. Drinks were good as well.
